Farmer’s Market

The Farmer’s Market is open on Saturday mornings

Founded in 1990-91 by impassioned Brookfield residents, the Brookfield Farmer’s market has been an annual Hallmark of the Brookfield Civic Center by City Hall. Since then, the Farmer’s Market has grown into the impressive local fresh produce and service amalgamation it is today. On Saturday May 3, vendors will once again be opening their stalls to residents for their 24th season. Manned by organizations who have attended for as long as ten years, the Market offers a unique variety of goods and services. There is a magnificent variety of fresh local produce, including many fruits, vegetables, cheeses, soups, meats, and potatoes, as well as a collection of novelty items ranging from alpaca wool hats to bee-keeping supplies. Running throughout the spring and summer seasons on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the market has something for everyone, be it foodstuffs, jewelry, or natural soaps, and is definitely a sight to see.
