Candles: :
Who doesn’t love the smell of a sweet smelling candle burning in their house during this time of the year? Candles are great gift for anyone on your Christmas list. They are inexpensive, plus there is a wide variety of selections to choose from ensuring you can find just the right scent for almost anybody. There are many Christmas scents available during this time of year as well.

Socks:
In Wisconsin, it can get pretty cold. A pair of warm, cozy socks is just what everybody needs. Everybody loves having good pair of fuzzy socks that are going to keep their toes warm during this holiday season. Socks are super cheap and come in so many different designs (even corny holiday designs). It doesn’t take too long to pick up a pair at the store with maybe with a matching pair of gloves or a matching hat.

Books:
We all have that one friend or family member that loves to read. Books are not too expensive and it is a great, thoughtful gift for the bookworm in your life. Buy them a book that you think they will enjoy, or buy one that they have been waiting to read for a long time. Book stores have some really great deals during this time of the year and I’m sure you can find a book for anyone.

Chocolate:
Everybody loves chocolate, or at least most people do. A box of chocolates or a pack of their favorite candy is the perfect present for those people. During this time of year, you can find holiday chocolate that not only tastes great, but also looks super cute. Famous candy companies also release holiday editions such as holiday M&Ms which are so much better than regular M&Ms. Personally, I don’t think you can go wrong with this gift.

Gift Cards:
I know what you’re thinking. Gift cards are so impersonal, but by selecting someone’s favorite restaurant and offering a lunch or dinner on you show how well you know him or her. During this time of the year, restaurants also offer some great deals when you purchase a gift card from them. Maybe you’ll end up getting a $15 gift card while you purchase one for your friend or family member. Sounds like a double win to me.

Phone Cases:
I can’t think of anybody in this generation who wouldn’t appreciate a new phone case. These days you can find a wide variety of phone cases — there are glittery ones, comical ones, colorful ones and so many more. A phone case as a present is just personal enough because you can find one that matches a person’s personality, and they will love that you picked just the right one out for them.

Sweaters:
As mentioned before, it tends to get pretty cold in Wisconsin. As painful as it may be for some people, a nice sweater makes it a little bit better. Sweaters come in so many different designs and varieties, and you can find one just about at any clothing store. Some can be a little expensive, but with holiday deals, you can find sweaters that are under $20, a present that I am sure everybody could use and appreciate during the holidays.

Mugs:
Mugs are really inexpensive gifts that make perfect presents for so many different kinds of people. Mugs come in so many shapes and designs that you can find the right one for anybody. Mugs are like the phone cases in that you can find one that represents someone’s personality. Everytime they drink from it they will think of you. They even sell mugs that you can decorate and personalize yourself which shows that you put even more thought into the gift. You can even fill the mug with some of their favorite chocolates and other small pieces of candy to make the gift even more fun.

Hot Chocolate in a Jar:
This gift is perfect for that friend who loves hot cocoa. Take a mason jar and fill it ⅓ of the way with your friend’s favorite hot chocolate mix. If you have a little bit of extra time, you can even make the cocoa mix from scratch. Fill another third of the mason jar with marshmallows and top it off with some peppermint candies. You can even tie a cute ribbon around the lid and add a personalized gift tag. This gift doesn’t take too long to make and it has a personal touch. Everybody appreciates a good homemade gift, especially one you can eat.
