The Brookfield Central boys basketball team is currently sitting with an 8-game winning streak, and a total of 10 victories thus far. The team is led by our 5 wonderful starters, Jack Daugherty (24’), Anthony Rise (25’), Kiran Joshi (23’), Henry Gruetzmacher (26’), and Ethan Ticcioni (23’). Between beating our Brookfield rival, the Spartans (62-58), and Neenah (65-56), the team that beat us in the final state championship game last year, our Lancers are fired up and ready to continue dominating. Led by head coach Dan Wandrey, the boys will once again play Brookfield East on January 31st, followed by Wauwatosa West and Marquette. While the non-conference games are played, the state championship is sneaking up behind us. With it being just over a month away, the boys must stick together and continue doing what they love. The boys’ stats, which can be found on the Boy’s basketball page on the BC athletic website, prove that they are putting in the work and we once again hope to play through the championship.
