What has been your favorite part of track and field at BC?
My favorite part about track and field at BC is the friendships and memories I have made with my teammates.
What are you most excited for with moving up to the college level track?
First, I am super grateful for the opportunity to continue my passion for the sport of track and field for another 4 years. I am also extremely excited to work with the team at WashU because they have been highly successful in recent years and I am excited to be able to train with such successful athletes to push myself to hopefully contribute to the team’s goals.
What are your favorite events?
My favorite event is the 300m hurdles, but I also love running in the 4×400 relay because it is the last event and everyone gets really hype for it.
What advice would you give to someone looking to join track?
I would tell them joining track is a great idea.
What got you interested in Biochemistry?
Ever since elementary school I have been super interested in science, I always participated in the science fair, and loved learning about science, and the science courses I have taken throughout high school have definitely solidified this interest.
What is your favorite track memory?
My favorite track memory was my 300 hurdles race at sectionals in 2023. What made this race so memorable was all my teammates, friends, and family who came to support me. This is also when I qualified for state, ran my lifetime PR, and broke the school record, so overall, it was an unforgettable moment in my track career.
