On Friday night, the Brookfield Central Lancers battled the Menomonee Falls Phoenix in the spectacular 2025 Homecoming Game! The final score was 38-39, with The Falls coming out on top in overtime.
As fans arrived, they were greeted with stands filled with proud parents and supportive students. The BCXC team arrived on the field after running 9.8 miles from our competitors’ school. Following the Lancer flag came our football team, led by Head Coach Joel Nellis. The crowd erupted with exciting cheers, banners were raised, and music filled the stadium. The BC Choir sang the national anthem, showcasing over 160 voices. The Lancers fought to the very end, scoring a touchdown and a field goal to tie the teams into overtime.
The following night, BCHS transformed the gymnasium for the much-anticipated 2025 Hollywood Homecoming dance. Golden streamers, twinkling lights, and decorated class walls brought a vibrant mix of red carpets, stars, and movie posters to life. The air buzzed with excitement as students filed in, dressed in sharp suits, stunning dresses, and playful accessories inspired by Hollywood glamour.
At the center of it all was a brand-new DJ, set up on an elevated stage with colorful spotlights pulsing in time to the music. The beat filled the room, and before long, the dance floor was alive with energy. Groups of students formed spontaneous dance circles, cheering one another on as classmates stepped in to show off their best moves. The night reached peak energy when songs like Gasolina by Daddy Yankee, Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-A-Lot, and Starships by Nicki Minaj blasted through the speakers. Students jumped in unison, some daring enough to crowd surf across their peers’ raised hands. It was a night that blurred the line between a high school dance and a true Hollywood party.
