Genghis Khan Restaurant

Having a craving for Asian-styled food? If so, Genghis Khan is the restaurant for you. Genghis Khan is a Mongolian-based restaurant with a variety of dishes meant to satisfy your needs. Not only does it provide quality food, Genghis Khan is also very affordable, having average prices lower than $10.

Genghis Khan offers several appetizers such as Fried Pot Stickers, Egg Rolls, and Shrimp Toast. Any of these options would be a great start to a meal. For main courses, Genghis Khan offers dishes that range from Kung Pao Chicken, Egg Drop Soup, and Shrimp Fried Rice.

Although there are several options, the best part of the restaurant by far is the customizable bowl of noodles. In this dish, you can select any type of meat from the following: pork, beef, and chicken. Next, you plop on a huge pile of noodles, sprinkle on a few vegetables, and top it off with one of eight choices of sauces. After all of that, you give your bowl to the griller and wait for about five or so minutes until your meal is cooked. The best part of this option is that you can put as much food as you want into one bowl and it also tastes great. Along with the bowl, you are permitted to help yourself to the buffet that consists of the usual rice, egg rolls, and different kinds of meats.

While Genghis Khan is a great restaurant with tasty food, there a few downsides: there is a pretty old-fashioned facility on the inside and is not very big in size. Also, it requires a decent drive because it is located at 725 N. Mayfair Rd, Wauwatosa, about 15 minutes. Even so, Genghis Khan is a great restaurant and I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys Asian food.
