The Brookfield Central varsity boys basketball team has had an active and competitive start to the 2025–26 season. Through the first four games, Central holds a 2–2 overall record. The Lancers faced early adversity with two close non-conference losses, including a one-point loss to Homestead 79–78 and a 63–54 defeat to Dubuque Senior. The Lancers have bounced back with multiple impressive wins, including: 77–71 over Germantown and 84–77 victory against Wauwatosa East
Looking ahead, Brookfield Central will face Greater Metro rivals including Wauwatosa West, West Allis Hale, and Brookfield East, as well as non-conference tests before the new year.If they continue to build on their momentum and tighten play on both ends, the Lancers are poised to be a tough out in GMC competition and a contender for postseason positioning.
