As we move into the cold months, it might be hard to spend time with your family or friends when you do not know any fun places near Brookfield that are indoors. Brookfield may seem small and it may seem like there are not many places to go, so you might think that you need to travel to Milwaukee. However, there are many places in Brookfield to go have fun with family and friends. Some of the places might not be unique so they just slip from your mind, like going to the mall or going to the movie theater. Brookfield Square Mall seems to have less and less people, which is why you should go there before it’s gone. As less people are going, the mall has many amazing deals. For example, I went to a store before it closed and they were giving out free things left and right. Even if you do not want to buy something specific, it can be fun to just walk around or go window shopping. Some other places in Brookfield are where you can play sports inside. Try the bowling alley on Bluemound! The satisfying sound of a bowling ball rolling down the lane knocking down the pins makes it such a fun activity. The Bluemound location is a great place to bowl my friends and family. It even has a little arcade corner, in the back they have a bar restaurant, and you can just order when you get your shoes. It’s really fun and a game for 4 only costs $40. Or there is a place called X-Golf. I’ve never been there but one of the students’ father owns the place with his brother so if you like golf you might want to think about going there. Another location I just learned about is called Claw Frenzy. It’s an arcade but the only machines there are claw machines so if you’re feeling lucky or if you love claw machines, think about coming over and checking the place out. If none of those activities caught your eyes, don’t worry there’s more. If you just want to hang out and without being active or playing games you might want to think about going to a new place to eat. There are a lot of places in Brookfield with unique cuisines of food but because there are a lot of places to go, I will only tell you about some hidden gems like the argentine restaurant called Algacho which is in a strip mall. The Algacho Grill is a very special place with people from Argentina cooking and serving you food. Some of the best things to get there are their french fries with special seasoning and the empanadas with many options of what to fill it with, they even have a vegetarian option There are other stores there which includes an asian grocery store that you can get some awesome snacks there and a really cool board game store where you can buy and play games there with your friends and family. To conclude these cold winter months, just because it’s cold doesn’t mean you need to stay home so go have some fun and memorable moments with your friends and family.
