This school year Brookfield Central Theatre has a new addition to the theatre season: a winter musical.

This year, BC Theater will be putting on a production of the Broadway smash Little Women. This beautiful story is based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott. The musical follows the March family as they go through life during the civil war. This story includes beautiful family dynamics and heartbreaking emotion making the audience feel fully immersed in the story.

Beginning rehearsals in the first week in December the cast and crew has worked incredibly hard to put together a spectacular musical. Rehearsals consisted of musical rehearsals, line memorization, acting, and meticulous direction to create a show all audience members would love. These busy rehearsals soon evolved into full runs of the show to create a consistent flow. This meant the addition of the set, furniture, props and costumes. 

The cast and crew of Little Women is a very tight-knit community from leading players to the ensemble to the run crew. The production truly could not be possible without each person. The production team, Mr. Pronley, Ms. Zak, Mrs. Dahl and Mrs. Birt, have given immense support and advice to each student involved making it a memorable production to be a part of.

 Brookfield Central’s Little Women has performances running from January 28 to February 1. The cast, crew, and production team hopes to see you there!
